01 — About

Engineer in training, systems thinker by habit.

I'm Deepak, a B.Tech Artificial Intelligence & Data Science student who spends most of his time on the backend — designing APIs, reasoning about data flow, and figuring out how systems behave under load. I work across the stack, but the parts I care about most are the ones users never see.

Alongside coursework, I compete in algorithmic problem solving, study cloud infrastructure and distributed systems, and build with Generative AI when a problem calls for it. I like taking an idea from a rough architecture sketch to a working, scalable service.

Outside of solo projects, I contribute to open-source codebases, build things at hackathons, and enjoy the pressure of a coding contest clock.
